Found Object Work

My found object series is all about the flotsam of everyday life – bits found in the junk-drawer like a stray drink stirrer or a puzzle or game piece that became separated from its box.  These items are identifiable on their own. But I combine them with hand-stitched embroidery floss that forms a new context for these forgotten gems.
